Car Spray Paints & Their Uses
31st Oct 2023
Car Spray Paints have always been popular, and not only for use on cars and motorbikes! This is probably because car spray paints are quick dying and can be used on a variety of surfaces; from metal and wood, to ribbon, glass and concrete. We've all seen graffiti under a city bridge or wall, and nine times of out ten spray paint is the graffiti-er's method of artistic inspiration!
The best way to prep a surface, before you use the car spray paint, and after ensuring the surface is clean, is to use a primer. I know, I know, it takes longer, but if you use a primer you'll be less likely to be repainting in a years time. TOP TIP: if its cold be generous with your primer!
Car spray paints are much like normal spray paint, but will not wash away when cleaning or washing chemicals are used. They are also budget friendly, and available in plenty of different colours, mainly car related colours, but still lots of choice for whatever you are spraying. TOP TIP: shake can vigorously before use, mix that paint in the can
The final stage when using your car spray paint colour, is to finish the job with a good lacquer, and don't panic, these also come in spray form. They can hide any small imperfections and minor scratches.
Finally remember safety first! Goggles, good ventilation and gloves to stop unwanted stains on your hands.
